Excellent and made as it looks with short carbine type forend and 30” barrel. Not an altered Spencer military rifle. .52 cal. with 6 groove rifling and original Lawrence rear sight. No post Civil War alterations and completely as produced during the Civil War. Excellent with faint blue and patina mix on barrel. Receiver a crisp dark patina with traces of case hardening.
